Val-Du-Lakes Campground Rules
- Alcoholic Beverages: Moderate use permitted at your campsite ONLY! Must have a valid photo I/D. at check-in. No kegs or pumped beer are allowed in the campground at any time. Any kegs, taps, and paraphernalia will be confiscated and become the property of the campground. No Beer pong allowed.
- Campsites: No more than 8 people per campsite. Do not exceed your campsite boundaries. Do not move to a different campsite.
- Check-Out: Check out time is prior to noon. Please re-register by 11:00 am if you wish to extend your stay, or cannot vacate your lot by noon. Failure to check out by noon forfeits your deposit. All parties must check out at the office and return ALL wristbands from everyone on your site, to receive your sedurity deposit back.
- Children: For safety reasons, please supervise your children at all times. Children must be at their campsite by dusk, unless they are accompanied by an adult.
- Defacing Park Property: Cutting of trees, branches, trenching of lots, burning grass, or any other means of destructive behavior, will not be tolerated. You will be charged for repairs and labor and asked to leave.
- Deposits: $25.00 security deposit must be made with a Credit Card/Debit Card by EVERY ONE checking into campground.
- Fires: Campfires must be in your fire ring only, and attended at all times. No bon fires or multiple ring fires. No firewood may be brought into park. Do not move your fire ring. Do not move your picnic table from your site.
- Garbage: Place in plastic bags and dispose of in dumpster across from bathhouse. You will forfeit your deposit if you leave trash in fire ring or dump it in the woods.
- Grey Water: Health Department requires closed containers. Empty your tanks at the dump station only.
- Pets: No more than two pets per site. Pets must be leashed (no more than 6 feet) and within the owner’s site, at all times. You are expected to clean up any waste and dispose of it immediately. Excessive barking, growling or aggressive behavior, may be grounds for eviction from the park. No animals in the bath house.
- Quiet Time: Golden Township has a noise ordinance between the hours of 11:00 pm – 8:00 am. We observe this ordinance and will strictly enforce this rule. Loud noises during this quiet time (music, racing of engines, loud talking, shouting or who hos) is not allowed. Radios must be off. 11:00 pm – Quite time, Midnight- Whisper, 3:00 am lights/campfires out!
*ALL CAMPERS RETURNING FROM THE BAR MUST DO SO QUIETLY OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BACK INTO THE PARK*
- Speed Limit: Speed limit is 15 MPH throughout the park.
- Vehicles: No more than one vehicle per site. Additional parking is available in the designated over flow parking area. Test/tunes, repairing, revving engines, joy riding or loud vehicles will not be tolerated at ANY time in the park. All toys, buggies, trucks, jeeps, etc. must stay trailered at all times. Gates close at 11:00 pm to all vehicle traffic.
- Visitors: All visitors must register at the office. Registered guests are responsible for the actions of their visitors. There is a $10.00 per day guest pass fee. All visitors must leave the park by 10:00 pm. No visitors allowed on holiday weeks.
****Fireworks and concealed weapons of any kind are prohibited in the park or on campground property****
BY CHECKING IN AND CAMPING AT VAL-DU-LAKES CAMPGROUND, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THE ABOVE RULES AND UNDERSTAND THEM. ANY VIOLATIONS OF THESE RULES CAN RESULT IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE CAMPGROUND. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND IF YOU ARE EVICTED FROM THE PARK!
